You know what? I'm not that upset. We were ****ing outstanding right across the pitch. Back to back brilliant performances and the only way is up. Watch out Bournemouth you're going to get a proper hiding.
Very hard to take. A great moment for Sterling. Just let the concentration slip for the last kick of the game.
That is a killer.but despite the result the team were great tonight, the manager deserves alot of credit for setting them up perfectly against a freescoring man city
Indeed. Looked the wrong move at the time, and even more so now. But, finally, MP got so much right tonight that I'll let him off that one.
5 minutes of extra time, so of course they score in 96th minute. Dont detract from great performance. Was expecting 4-0.
How many times have we seen this, added time until they score. But a decent performance, we didn't expect anything in terms of point, but we got the confidence that we can play a good back to the wall match
I also think the reshuffle and having to take Cedric off was the reason that they scored but not the managers fault, just unfortunate.
Past two performances have shown a huge change. We now seem to have a plan. He deserves a little more support.
Great performance but totally gutting to end that way. One lapse when we needed our concentration most. Bring on Bournemouth. Ps don't think we should have subbed Austin on, doesn't offer enough covering the ground when we really needed top work rate.
That was really hard to take, but the five minutes came from a couple of injuries, plus the fact we were timewasting (understandably) an awful lot. I have no complaints on the ref there, or all game. They should hold their heads high, but that was almost the worst case scenario for us moving forwards as that's going to take some lifting them out of that disappointment after working so bloody hard. Saying that, please step forward the recently maligned - MP2 VVD Ryan Bertrand Sofiane Boufal Shane Long. You were all tremendous this evening (though I wouldn't have take Long off for Charlie in a month of Sundays in this one). Argh balls. We'd all have taken that result at the beginning of the evening, but not at 90 minutes. COYR.
