I thought it was only violent conduct that was 3. Denying a goalscoring opportunity is a single game ban I think, but I'm struggling to find that written down anywhere.
I have to agree that it is time to give Rudd a few games starting in the PL and strengthening at the back is an absolute must!!!! Might be time to change my username!!!
Any team that can't hold out for 5minutes after scoring deserves to lose. Don't care that it was against City. Our defence (GK included) are a farce at Championship standard let alone trying to keep us in the Prem. Coming so close to an 'unexpected point' makes no difference. It's the same every week.
I thought AN set the team up well but individual errors cost us again although Man City definitely deserved to win. I'm still confident we have the right manager but not the right players.
I listened to AN's interview on Radio Norfolk and you could tell he was not very happy. With RM out for 3 matches (I think), it gives some of the other pllayers on the fringes to make a name for themselves.
Surely a 3 match ban is only for violent conduct, as DH says. We wouldn't play 3 CBs against Swansea at home, so let's not get carried away. We're still 16th and 3 points clear of relegation. Far too early to panic.
If Martin is out for 3 weeks then Ryan Bennett has his chance to step up. I think this is make or break time for Bennett. The worrying thing is if Bassong gets injured we really are in trouble. Not that Bassong has been fantastic, he's just the best of a bad bunch.
I didnt' get to see this, but how did Mulumbu look? I can see he got over 90% pass completion which is pretty impressive against Man City (though he might have only made 11 passes...) I was very excited when we signed him as I think he's class
As some sort of clarification, the PL site (well, the fantasy football bit) has Martin listed as suspended until 21st November, meaning he only misses the Swansea game.

Mulumbu and Tettey made a good pairing for this sort of match, with Howson further forward. IMO, Mulumbu is much more a DM/CM than Tettey, which gives AN options in the AM role. I also think that Mulumbu is class and could make a big difference from here on in.
