It didn't quite work for Gervinho but he he worked hard and did well overall i think. Not sharp enough and feel like the pressure got to him a bit.
One of the few teams that has taken points off City at their ground in recent times, Gervinho could have even won it.
To sum up both teams. Arsenal are a team of great players but we lack individual brilliance up front. City are a team of stars that don't really play that well together. We were the better team but we didn't have that killer instinct up front. Very happy with a point. Gerv Should've won it for us. A great performance overall. Well done Arsenal.
Shout out to the defence. Bar the corner we conceded that led to the goal and Kosch moment's of madness, they were absolutely solid. Mert had a blinder, as did Kosch. Jenkinson was immense and Gibbs had a good game. Gerv is too inconsitent.. it's frustrating.
So happy with that point being rescued at the end!!! I think the defence had a cracking game, especially Mert and Jenks- they played brilliantly. Up front we were really lost and couldn't create space. Gervinho had an absolute shocker and couldn't seem to connect with the ball at all as well as being under constant pressure from at least 2 Man City defenders at a time. I'm impressed with the way we played overall though, just got to find a way through a bit more often.
