Argh... flash backs to last season at the £thihad. We play well, don't convert our chances, concede a poor set piece and they score. Jeez Louise. We really need to stick it to them if we want to win. Ramsey has played well, Gerv <doh> just frustrating... should've scored 1 and assisted another. Diaby has been rugged in midfield but Toure has the edge in the middle. Jenkinson has played well.. Gibbs has done well apart from that stupid corner we conceded due to him.... I don't know what Manoune was doing when we conceded. <doh>

    I'll be happy with 1-1.

Good play in midfield but you don't win leagues when you defend corners like that. Arteta has been our best player

    Completely unnecessary corner.

I feel we will score at least one goal here though.

That was the Ramsey of old. Brilliant performance from him. Strong running and his passing was sharp.

Ramsey has been great comming on as a sub for us this season and had a good tournament at the olympics. I was a little worried to see him on the wing as imo he doesnt give the same defensive cover as walcott or gerv - but he has been fantastic so far.

We've been the better side. Created more chances and dominated possession.

Without Vermealen the defence is not communicating.

We can still get at least a point here.

Stop blaming Kos for the goal, him and podolski both could of got to it and Podolski was the one in the better position to get to it. I think we could do with getting Giroud on the pitch - he will help at set pieces alot and we could do with winning some more in the air.

Otherwise brilliant in midfield and over the better team other than the unlucky set piece.

I think Sir chesser also commands the defence alot and with no verm or Chesser we do seem to lack a bit of communication at the back.

Lack of communication doesnt explain why 3 player stood still on the corner and watched lescott head it in

Also other than the heavy touch which should of put gerv 1 on 1 he has been very good, twisting and turning, winning the ball back etc..

For me Podolski and Mannone should have done better on the corner.

I agree with Neville, i'm not a fan of zonal marking, i far prefer man to man, at least you have body on the target. if we man marked that corner, then someone like Per would have been on Lescott.

Aside from that, we're still defending well, even without Verm leading the back 4.

If we really want a chance of winning, we have to go for broke in the first 5-10 mintues. City have been struggling to contain our forwards. If we do that, I can see us nicking a win... but if we leave 'til too late, City will be more than happy to defend a 1-0 lead in the last 20-30mins, it's Mancini managing. They won like this against United at home last season... a Kompany header from a corner and they defended for the rest of the game.

Come on Arsenal. I know we can do it.

City have gone for another body in midfield, Rodwell on.

City beefing up the midfield. Probably going to play Yaya higher up.

****, just as I post that... what did I say? Mancini has no problem defending a 1-0 lead for the rest of the game. Now we really have to go for it.

The city sub has worked well, we can't seem to get a hold of the ball in midfield now.
