Any other day I'd be wanting them to lose, but we desperately need these clowns to win here.

What the Hull...

 

Not a great day for us in terms of results. Hull and Sunderland now within touching distance. Have to beat Leicester next week.

 

Liverpools only victory in their last 9 games came at home to Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup replay ! That's relegation form.

 

Well, the only team that could overtake us today was Palace - and they lost. So at least there's a silver lining. At least we won't be in the bottom 3 no matter what happens tomorrow.
It does make the Leicester match huge now - really need another win.

 

Not to pleased with the Hull decision but I'd rather Sunderland win than Palace . We are 1 point from 18th with a game in hand on all 3 teams below us . Beats Palace being above us . More importantly is the fact that not only can we look at 3 teams below us , we are tied with 2 teams above us .

 

Bournemouth slipping down as well and Southampton continuing to struggle

 

Looks like there are quite a few teams getting sucked in. Agreed on palace, a draw would have been best for us there, but the hull win is the stinker.
I'm also getting quite anxious about our goal difference. If we can get any sort of result tomorrow I'll be over the moon, but if we are to lose then hopefully we can keep it tight.

 

The , seemingly, good news is by the time this month is over we will be 7 games into the 2nd half of the season. Our 3 games we've yet to play are against Man City , Leicester and Chelsea . Are first 4 games of the 2nd half were against Southampton , Liverpool , Arsenal and Palace in which we already got 9 points . We could lose our next 3 games and average over a point a game against teams we've played 2nd half ... February are gravy games IMO . After 7 games of the 2 nd half , we will have played 13th , 4th, 3rd , 19th , 5th , 16th and 1st place with 1st , 4th and 5th being played at their stadium .

 

A great week for Hull. Things tightening up big time at the bottom. Squeaky bum time all the way to the end?

 

By this time next week lads we'll be about 6-7 points clear of the relegation zone

Liverpool royally ****ed it up today

 

We can lose tomorrow and still not be in the relegation zone, then it's all guns blazing against Leicester, possibly to climb above them.

There again, if we win or draw tomorrow....................

 

I fancy us for a draw. Nothing to lose game, so I want to see Gylfi, Narsingh and Llorente let loose on their defence tomorrow. Hit their shaky defence with everything we have.
