Those Football Gods decided it wasn't our turn, I think we would have been a bit unbearably smug if we had pulled off another miracle.
Hmm, after all the ups and downs it's actually taking a lot of willpower to suppress being pretty annoyed we didn't finish 5th, and we should've had it under control before this game. A great season nonetheless but we really did have a comfortably better team than Liverpool and Spurs this season and in the end nothing stopped us but us. I guess I'll remember this as a season that could've been bad, should've been amazing but ended up as just really good. Now don't let us down Arsenal, and it'll be onwards and upwards next season.
This for me aswell, a very good season when you look at the overall picture, break it down a bit and it could have been oh so much better.
This was the most sanguine I have been about a Saints game. Would have liked a better result of course (though we did get to laugh at Liverpool), but this has been a good season. Well done to the team.
Onward to the pre-season dramatics. We should sign some of LFC's players (just for fun) as they used to have ambitions for Champion's League - but something has clearly changed.
Quite a few i guess. Wasnt counting, but the cheekiness becaume naughtiness after the first goal went in.
Not too drunk. Tomorrow night i have to handle a depressed/jubilant Tubby. Not gonna be easy that one
Well as meltdowns go that was pretty good. Just behind a rampant Liverpool assault on Europe! Beyond expectations. Well done everyone , you've all done very well. Glad Newcastle and Sunderland stayed up, just need Mboro to get promoted and I have a hat trick of local matches to go to.
