Well, you look at City's home record and our away record, and the facts speak for themselves. The Times today reckoned there was a massive 6% chance of an away win. Later in the season, when our side has really started to gel, and at home, I'm going to start expecting big things. Still, as I said, there were many positives to draw both from the display and from various individual performances.

    Absolutely <ok>

This feels strange to say, but Dyer looked class when on the ball and with his movement.

Good game from the team today, bad first half, but much improved second half. A few thoughts from the game after the final whistle:

    - How the hell did Kolarov stay on the pitch for the whole game, should have got 3 yellows after taking Ferdinand out and trying to take Onuoha out, a real **** that on purpose tries to hurt opposition players
    - Granero looked quality considering he signed only yesterday, better things still to come after he's had a few training sessions and games with the team
    - Nelsen had a great game, too bad he wasn't as sharp in off as he was in def
    - Dyer did great after substitution, might still prove to be the best signing NW made last summer
    - Ferdinand at fault for 2 first goals for ManC, will Mbia replace him as CB for next game
    - MH really went for it in the end, subbing Granero and bringing in Cisse. Would have brought in Cisse for AJ earlier, and maybe Hoillett for SWP, moving JSP to right. But can't really blame the substitutions considering Faurlin had his first PL game in ages, and if Granero had a problem with his hamstring

All in all a performance that builds up confidence, can't wait for next game against Chelsea in two weeks <ok>
