Guess it depends how it came about. Was he asked a leading question? If so, he's right to have the attitude of 'its not over until the fat lady sings'
I'd question Sane if anyone. All TAA did was stand 2yrds further back to show him inside rather than down the line. Sane should have figure out a different approach but he didn't.
taa can only do his job sane is shortlisted for pfa poty.... he was in tasks back pocket for 180mins. give our lad even the finest bit of praise eh?
TAA was superb, motm in both ties imo. But the change in form came from a very small alteration. He wasn't actually paying that bad beforehand, just had a couple of high profile mistakes.
indeed. learning. imo with the pass he has and the free kicks and pace and add in he stands up and makes good challenges to a better positional sense and you are looking at best rb in the prem within 18 months. He's a boy playing a man's game compared to walker physically but in terms of ability on the ball there's already no contest.
he played well but lets not pretend if the ref hadn't blown up a few times he'd have bagged 2 legitimately. Sane was all over him in the first half (i missed the first leg) but he got to grips with him in the 2nd half
lol, not when he isn't offside . The milner one Sorry the first leg which i didnt watch he didn't score but karius saved it and jesus grabbed it right?
city scored an offside goal. I can't remember it as it was only CL highlights but Sane went through and city scored but it was bought back for offside
