Yeah, maybe when City become a giant of European football they might get a few iffy decisions in their favour.
Dejan Lovren was happy to get a photo taken with Sterling and Silva before leaving the Etihad after the game. please log in to view this image
Roma v Madrid Liverpool v Bayern In order Smily for optimism specially for you Also sure i have discussed the mane red a few times so cant always be talikng optimistically lmao
I have a very bad feeling we will get Bayern. I fear German efficiency as opposed to Italian/Spanish diving to con the ref.
I actually wouldn’t mind Real in the semis. Ramos is likely to be missing for the first leg and their defence is ****e without him.
At least Klopp will know Bayern inside out, and I'd prefer to beat Real M. in the final .........wouldn't mind Roma, good side though. They all are.
I really don't care which we get. i want second leg at home. If we can bring an away goal back home to anfield and maybe even a draw from any of the 3 we have a great chance.
Better get Madrid at home in the second leg definitely. We eliminate the favourites and toughest opponents in a 2 legged tie and we meet Bayern in the final. Third time lucky for JK in a final for us This is our year , I feel it in my bones. The CL trophy is in my eyes as big as (if not bigger than) the premiership title. LFC will match City as the team of the season.
I don't care who we meet and i don't care what the results are we've already far exceeded expectations. This is going to be great and if we lose there should be standing ovation at the end for these players. I just want the second leg at home to have half a chance. I really don't care which of the 3 we got. Loads of media commentary saying get roma but we should respect what they've done just like they should respect what we have done. Just a home leg last game and if we being that away goal back home... i think we can see a crazy night.
At the semis stage we all have a chance. With due respect to Roma, they have overachieved far more than we have. Whoever they meet it will be the end of their road. For us (perhaps more than any other) the second leg at home is crucial as the “intimidation” of the opposition at Anfield will give us a significant advantage. Madrid like many teams this season have shown that they are human and can concede when put under pressure by a determined team. Barcelona and City have found that to their cost.
sure... but its just great to be here. In 2008 say... we lost to Chelsea in SF of CL. I think we can all say were were disappointed to lose to them despite them being a great side This year... we are so far past where any realistic expectation could be set. If we lose and have a great go at it it won't be that disappointing. It would be easier i guess say if we won the SF then we would have an amazing party and be over joyed beyond belief.
