I agree, but superficially it wasn't obvious when the **** was banging them in - the point being that the management on the training pitch have a better insight into the quality of the player than we maybe get when only watching competitive games.

Conversely anyone who pays £20-£30 a game to watch the SPFL every week is a ****ing dummy.

i said a few weeks ago i have reached my strachan point with lennon. the football on offer generally is dross. i am ****ed off with the **** we keep buying, and i am even more ****ed off with the lack of opportunities for the young players coming through.

we have the best youth set up yet when guys get to 18 they get overtaken by kids from other teams, this is purely because players at other teams get to experience first team football. fergie at man u brought through loads of players, the majority were ****e like chadwick. but they all got the opportunity to prove themselves. with no huns we have had the perfect opportunity to blood young guys in meaningful games to see if they have what is required. instead lennon has taken the route of playing the same team week in week out.

It was pretty turgid stuff. Even recently there have been periods of games that we haven't been at the races......but that's more than made up for by the good ****.

Are folk actually that raging about signing Griffiths...?

Aye, Lennon said something different 10 months ago but what manager doesn't play to the crowd in front of him or says something to talk his own team up...? We've already bought a midfielder for 2m who can replace Ledley (although I am gutted to see him go, can understand the reasons), another young striker who is getting good reviews and a proven SPL hitman who still has potential.

I don't think it's as simple as that. It's an accumulation of the club talking utter baws to the fans, a perceived lack of ability to retain our top players and, as stated on here, boring football up until recently.

The issue isn't really signing Griffiths he's just the cherry on the top.

    Hairy Muff <ok>

I'm looking forward to seeing us play with Johansen and Griffiths starting. Hope they both start against St Mirren tonight - I can actually watch this game as it's a 7pm KO here.

I don't think the thumb headed racist who wouldn't get in Lennon's team (THRWWGILT) is eligible for today.

Don't think Griffiths was registered in time to be in the squad today.

He's signed now so I hope he screws the nut and does well though <ok>
