Chris Hughton must have seen sense and declined. He'd do well at Everton, but the Toffees will most probably appoint some non-entity from Spain or Italy.

Hughton is an excellent manager, but a slow builder like Curbs. Watford is the last place he should consider.

Incredible to read that after only two months in the job, Phil Parkinson is facing a make or break Xmas at Sunderland. They are 13th in League One. If the Sunderland owner had done his research he would have seen that Parky is a slow builder.

I imagine they're beginning to panic at Sunderland now.
A long term future in the lower leagues and a two thirds empty stadium awaits them - we know, we've been there.

They should go all out for a dynamic young manager like Lee Bowyer. They might have heard one or two prominent leaders of thought among Charlton fans calling for him to be sacked

Their owner is a complete clown & charlatan. He clearly hasn’t got a pot to p1ss in.
Sunderland has 46,000 last Boxing Day...this Xmas they are expecting less than half of that.
