3 PL managers fired so far then - Fulham Southampton Man Utd Who is next ? Here’s my prediction - The Cautious Colin owl-lookalike at Palace.
Talking about managers that aren't doing well. Neil Harris in the Championship for Millwall. He must be up for a sacking. I notice TC has not posted on here for a while. What a surprise.
United must want Pochettino - they have basically written this season off. They should also kick Pogba's arse out of the club ASAP.
Managers like Mourinho that rule by fear are redundant nowadays. The days when you can bully the players and put the fear of God in them have now passed. When you are earning between 100000 to 250000 a week you criticise and undermine the Manager al la Pogba. Then you can sit on a nice juicy contract until they get rid of you. The Premiership player holds all the power nowadays.
Sir Alex would have got rid of Pogba before he could poison the dressing room. Ozil is another one who plays when he feels like it, and he has been dropped now.
“Claude Puel has two games to save his job at Leicester City” - today’s papers. Unfortunately for Puel, the next two games are against Chelsea and Man City This is inflated ego player power again - that horrible little chav Jamie Vardy went public yesterday about Puel’s football style not suiting him...and now there are further rumours of so called player unrest.
No, he's at Southend who are in League one? but he could do a job for Leicester … he's a good man manager but he would need an experienced Prem No. 2 beside him.
My Brother-in-law is a S/T holder at Soton, he said Puel was hated there because of his style of football, so I was surprised he did so well at first at Leicester. However, 3 of us had him down for an early sacking when this thread started, so it's not unexpected. They must be letting him get those 2 defeats out of the way rather than the new man have them on his record.
I don’t think it’s occured to Leicester’s owners that their PL title was a once In a generation fluke.
Steve Bruce confirmed as the new Sheff Wed manager. Nothing in his long career can prepare him for who he is about to deal with
excuse me; irrespective of who the team is, winning the premier league cannot be a fluke; 38 games over a whole season is a wonderful achievement. Their late owner would be horrified at your garbage comment!
Still a fantastic achievement against all the odds. however I get your point that it has raised supporters expectations to unrealistic levels. As Curbs would say, they punched above their weight.
Stoke City interested in Sam Allardyce and David Moyes for their managerial vacancy. Why not Alan Pardew
