Hardly the shock of the century, but it could bite them on the bum, his antics took all the glare away from the team while they escaped what had looked nailed on relegation!
Fully agree with that. I don't much like his persona, but Pearson some how managed to keep Leicester up after they seemed dead and buried.
Why in earth do it now? He's kept them up and started recruitment. Unless they're about to pull a rabbit out of a hat for their next appointment, it makes no sense at all.
BBC reporting the fall out is to do with Pearson's son being sacked too. That basically explains the weird timing, although doesn't reflect well on Pearson Senior IMO. Just because he's the manager's son doesn't mean he should get special licence to be a dick and managers shouldn't be trying to bend rules to suit their family
The timing does seem strange, but we have had weird decisions by owners from the sub continent before a la Venkys.
Don't think he'll get it, is it just a move to destabilise his job at Bolton, so he can get some kind of move to somewhere he can do something positive?
I think Pearson is as crazy as a box of frogs but fair play he did keep them up. Premier league sent him crazy.
