Apparently talks are on going. They've booked a flight out for him for the 16th and booked some rooms at the four seasons for him and his assistants. The 16th will be when we know if he has taken it or not.

I think something similar will happen like when he was on the verge of signing for West Ham and then went to Madrid. This time it will be to Spurs or Everton.

 

Fenerbahçe to sign Rafa on a 2 year deal, with the option of a further 1 year if he wants to.

Marcelo will be his first signing from Real.

Dirk Kuyt looking likely to be one of his assistants.

Note... He hasn't actually signed yet, that's just the offer on the table.

 

Benitez has been ruled out of the Everton job now, as have Moyes and Conceicao.

 

Rafa has been sent match tapes and reports on all the players at Fenerbahçe. He has also been offered the chance to sign Eric Bailly from Man Utd and either Vedat Muriqi from Lazio or Oliver Giroud.

Fenerbahçe are still awaiting his decision.

 

Sounds like he is going to have as exciting a weekend as me.
