I dont think Cousins was someone who only slipped in under the radar and was brought in due to a lack of options as you've got to remember he was one of the stand out players from our Pre-Season (especially against Dagenham (wooo) wasnt it?)... I do believe though that Poyet definitely slipped in and had Stephens not left he would probably only be on the bench at most right now
Agreed. And CP must have felt he needed cover in midfield otherwise he wouldn't have signed Gower and given Hughes a year's extension!
