Typical Sunderland, we play alright, look like a point might be possible then score and own goal. We will either go on and win the game now or lose 4-0. I know which of the above I expect and is more likely.
We played like this all of last season and ended up winning the title and reaching the Champions League final. It is frustrating though and the way Man City are playing it will be difficult to catch them. It's all down to our rubbish central midfield, that area lets down the rest of the team.
Did it hit Vidic's head? My internet is shocking so I can't see what happened but the commentators are saying it came off his head.
You haven't looked like scoring though and Man Utd have had all the chances. That's what I can make out from my ****ing **** stream anyway.
The goal, header off the line and 2 very good saves from the Sunderland keeper. Those are the chances I remember, plus a few efforts that went wide. Has Lindegaard made save?
We are missing a creative central midfielder with a touch of flair. Cattermole, Colback, Vaughan, Meyler and Gardener are all solid workman central midfielders but none of them have that touch of creative pedigree in the mould of Zenden. We pass the ball well but I dont think its enough to get into the top 10.
