I’m sure I read on here a few weeks back that he offers nothing going forward (after his first game I think)
Not had time to read through the post match comments on here, but that was one of the most enjoyable and best quality saints games I’ve watched in a lonnng time. Obviously a shame about the end result, but none of the goals we conceded were “soft” and I think every player put in a good performance in an open and competitive match
I'm going to shock everyone here by not moaning. Yes the loss feels like a sucker punch but..... It was at Old Trafford The ref diddled us Cardiff lost anyway. One game closer to the end of the season without being in the relegation zone. I really hope we grab something from the Spurs game though.
Congratulations to him on an amazing first goal....what a memory for the lad. Incredible to see the strides he has made since that debut against United, where he looked (understandably) really nervous and almost star struck when near his fellow countryman Pogba
Only seen the highlights, so can't really judge too much ... but **** me, what was that referee on? Stunning goals from both JWP and Valery
VAR rules out the Utd second goal next season. More difficult to conclude what VAR would say about the penalty appeals, because ultimately they're still subjective.
Considering the unanimous consensus of how well we played today, it seems odd that we seemed to have had hardly any of the highlights on MOTD and it seemed to be all Man Utd attacking the whole time?!?! Almost as if the BBC only cared about one team
The most annoying thing is knowing that if Betrand is in a United kit those are both given. Why bother trying to compete with these teams if they get given the win anyway.
But at Old Trafford against United if that was Austin and there was the slightest doubt, it wouldn’t have been given. Guaranteed. Given to a top club 9/10 times
I seem to remember one that spurs had, just his little old foot poking out the line, and everyone was like.... 'Off-side, its the rules blah blah.' Its either off, or on, .......tight but allowed doesn't cut it for me.
What other highlights of ours could they have shown? PEH's long range shot straight at De Gea? Yoshida's header deflected wide off Smalling? Given the time restrictions, I'd hardly call them worthy of inclusion. (Unlike Utd's missed chances, which were either bad misses or good saves - but, ultimately, good chances.)
