So you are telling us to stop bitching about the ref and the he was ok, but you need to watch motd to look at the incidents in question ?

 

Dont think it was offside,but pulling the shirt inside the area IS a penalty,just because pundits and other twats shrug their shoulders about it doesnt alter the fact.

The television pundits thought we should have had two penalties, and The first seemed stonewall, but I have changed my mind now as Black has overruled them.

 

Because the one incident obviously didn't stand out enough to me to get angry about.

At 2-2 we kept on attacking, forced a few corners and looked pretty dangerous......and solid.
Gutted they got the third, but what a performance. Same next week please.

 

Easy to see on a replay but imo genuinely tough to see/call for the ref. You have to remember how attacking players are expert at conning the ref. Can't blame the ref for being cautious.

If only there were video replays available to the ref...

Well yeah. Exactly. The main thing is Saints played bloody well.

 

A point would have been amazing. No matter how well we played, it's going to feel disappointing to walk away from that with nothing. We may have the intention to play like that again, and the effort, but we won't play that well every game from here on out. Which makes the lack of a point to show for our efforts the more frustrating. Got to look at the bigger picture though, and that is it's us vs Cardiff and we gained +1GD on them today and they had the easier game. Could have been so much better though.

 

Ralph has virtually found his top XI....(just Danny in for Chaz) and it is clicking together. Play like this and we will have no worries.
Big plusses today were Valery and JWP making huge strides forward, Gunn looks like he will be our #1 for years hopefully and Chaz looks like he is back to his best although he probably can't manage a full match under Ralph.

 

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say "Thank you very much" to Wolves.

 

I say this every week now, and it's probably getting boring; but Valery, man, what a player that guy is going to be.

 

Yep, there was just something about him in those early matches that marked him out as a prospect.

 

Just heard his interview on Solent and he talks a pretty good game too.
