Yep. I expected to lose but not in this manner. Just give it a go and get at them. Taarabt would of been better than Matty Mare. The stage would've been set for him to have a go at this United defence. Shocking tactics from Redknapp.

Agree totally. Their defence is suspect, should have had a go. Phillips is next to useless and doesn't deserve a starting place. Hill, bless him, shouldn't have started at old Trafford due to lack of pace. (but at least he tries).
Tactics are shocking.
It's gonna be a long season.

Just left old trafford to make my way home to leeds. Pointless staying. If you turn up to defend and invite attack then you get hammered. No pressure on their players when in possession. Really really dissapointing. Would prefer to lose by at least having a go

Mate - I have never left a game early because we were losing - that is the point of being a fan... to support your team - get back in there and scream your head off... why did you go exactly? What did you expect? SUPPORT YOUR TEAM!!! I hope we score two and you miss the last 10 mins when we score in the last minute - missing one of best games of your life...

We've had 2 weeks to prepare for this- just what the hell have we been doing? The minimum requirement should've been coming out hard and fast, pressing Utd high, and showing their shaky side no respect. Even a league 2 team can do that- as long as you've got the fitness and tactical instruction.

It's like we've got absolutely no confidence in our ability to compete in a football match. That's total bullsh1t, we should've been on a high from our first win Vs Sunderland. I'm finding it hard to blame the players here; the coaches have got everything to answer for. Particularly given the spurs 'performance'.... "definition of insanity" and all that.

They only had 2 actual shots on goal but. I've been impressed with Man U today when they don't have the ball. High tempo and closing down quickly. It's what we should be doing but the tactic was to sit back and reduce the space.

I had had enough before the first goal. Tactics: play the whole game in our half, let them have the ball all the time and hope that they don't score. ****ing brilliant! We have had one shot and that was because their defender ****ed up under pressure. THE ONLY PRESSURE IN 45 MINUTES!
On the subject of commentators: "QPR finished 5th last season, Niko wasn't selected in Croatia's squad because he had a bad season and QPR have only one injury, JB, otherwise Harry has a full squad to select from"<doh>

Simply embarrassing. It's not often you can generally see out on the pitch that the players haven't got any gameplan whatsoever, which is exactly what has happened in our last two away games. To echo the sentiment of many others on here, I dont mind getting hammered if we play football the right way and try to have a go. As long as I can see the players trying to do the right things, then no problem. What i've just watched in that first half however, simply beggars belief.

Badly missing Barton. At least he would put himself about. I hope this is not what we can expect from Sandro, beast my arse.

It's not the players but the tactics and system. Have an aggressive game plan and the players will respond. Be timid and wary and the players react accordingly. TBH we looked beaten in the tunnel, didn't look up for it at all.

some disgracefull posts on this thread......you need to get a grip

I've got it....Lets get Adel out to win us hi match then....? thoughts.. DT and co?

Nah didnt think so...cowards!

What's disgraceful is the approach to the game, negative tactics & bizarre belief we're good enough to defend for 90 mins....if we'd not played so deep, got stuck into some tackles early on and not played with 4 full backs united wouldn't have had so much time on the ball to play themselves back into form. We might still have been 3-0 down so what would we have lost by having a go.....redknapp is a negative dinosaur twat
Is there some rule that says we can't tackle Blind?....he's not ****ing Xavi or Pirlo but we're making him look like it
Suggest you get a grip & get back to reality

Undone by two bits of class, and a lucky shot by Rooney (let's be honest he'd done nothing like that in the last 6 months, green must've been shocked as anyone it was on target)
