Phelan had no confidence and it rubbed of on the players.
He paid good money for Mason yet played him out of position then dumped him. Yet stuck with the worst keeper i've seen in the Prem

 

He's a WUM which is a game young kids play.

At the start of the show, they said that Phelan couldn't say too much as he was still going through legal compensation paperwork with the club. Being contracted for a short amount of time will just mean his compensation will be little/next to nothing in football terms.

I don't know which makes me sadder; that there's someone out there who wants to exhibit such a persona or that there's someone out there that actually has those thoughts. He should take up a hobby involving personal growth (can't wait to see the responses to that statement) or something.
