Yup - Wengers early teams used to be able to grind out wins. Not just play well. . If you cant defend then who gives a **** if we play good attacking football.
This is reminscent of the games Wenger had against Ferguson in the latter years. To be honest, we can only blame ourselves for not getting a goal back because we've had countless opportunities. We've not been clinical enough at all and in a game like this, the ability to finish your chances is critical. I think we will be hard pressed to see United that defensively vulnerable again in the second-half, so we're going to need to be smart in possession and make the most of the chances we have, whilst simultaneously making sure we don't concede a third. Otherwise we will be dead and buried. I am worried about them countering us because every single time they break forward, they look like scoring. But if we get an early goal, then it's game on.
