In the modern day of one up front the striker's role has changed. You'll rarely get Defoe/Lineker types who score 25 a season and can't do anything else. Obviously chipping in with their fair share is necessary but the primary role is to hold the ball up and bring the attacking midfielders into the game. I thought he was **** last season but has been very good this year and was excellent last night. The few Arsenal chances involved him doing something good (header for the goal, the cross for Ramsey's chance).
United have got no chance now... http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport...s-out-on-arsenal-winning-league-2013110480867 (pinched from luvgonzo the scouser )
