<laugh> I love it when opposition fans underrate our players, it means you lot don't know just how important Mertesacker is, and that way will never try and sign him.

Arsenal parked the bus and got lucky to win. That luck will end on Sunday.

I'd like to see Manure go play Dortmund away and not park the bus. Madrid lost 4-1 doing that. So imagine how bad you'd have done? PS, we won't need a bus against you.

And everyone of your back 4 <rofl><laugh> Utter delusion. Hell I wouldn't even swap De Gea for Chez. And I'm tempted not to swap Giroud for RvP as he fits the new system far better.

There's nothing deluded about the simple fact that I personally would not choose a single one of your back five above any of ours. It's my choice.

Now, **** off, find dictionary and look up what delusional means.
Then maybe come back and gloat if you've won on Monday because the match hasn't actually been played yet.

I think it's extremely harsh to say Arsenal parked the bus. Defending deep against a team with that sort of pace is a very sensible tactic and Arsenal were very comfortable with the ball in the opposition's half. They had 51% of possession which is rare for a bus parking.

No doubting that this was a great result for Arsenal. How they managed to stay in the game for so long until they scored, goodness knows. But hats off to them for not only keeping a clean sheet in Dortmund but actually beating them - which no English team has ever done before. Last year they taught mighty and fancied Madrid (led by even more fancied Maureen :) ) a footballing lesson which they has yet to recover from.

Having said that I would prefer to meet Arsenal after such a win rather than a defeat. We'll see but United just cannot afford to lose points against Arsenal. 11 points will be very hard to retrieve.

It would be interesting to work out what result the fans of the other contenders would like. In most years they would say an Arsenal win. This year, would they still like this even though Arsenal might be racing ahead and get the confidence boost they need for a very long run? If they beat United they might be "unstoppable" even by City.

This bus parking nonsense is complete bollocks, I don't know why people insist on using it. What were Arsenal expected to do? Go out hell for leather for a spectacular win and get stuffed?

They had a plan and it worked, that's how you play in europe. Especially in the cagey group stages where the only thing that counts is qualification. To go there and win is impressive, regardless of how they did it. Arsenal look good this year but having Ramsey as their main goal threat is a bit of a flaw.

Time Giroud chipped in. Not sure what this 'system' is they're supposed to play where by the striker doesn't have to score much because a midfielder does it for him? Much rather have a decent centre forward, or three, myself.

Finally, an opinion with sense! Absolutely nothing wrong with defending, I admire brilliant defending as much as I do attacking. We were heavily criticised for how we set out against Barca, nothing wrong with it whatsoever, Barca are/were quite obviously a MUCH better side (arguably the best of all time over the past 4-5 years or so) and if you play them at their own game you're going to get hammered.

Do what it takes to win within the laws of the game, that's all I ask for from my team.

Yep. I cannot imagine the damage they would inflict if they had someone like Aguero (never mind RVP or Rooney) in their squad. They would be favourites for the title as their defence seem to be coming together.

Even without a regular potent striker, they are winning and if Ozil is on form on Sunday we are in for a really rough time. Our midfield would have to be at their best yet.
