knowing AW, he will rather to get 50% of clause profit around 5m than pay 35m

Not half as much egg as you'll have if he rejects you after Gunners fans have spent all summer bleating on about their first refusal <ok>

Eurosport are reporting that we've given up chasing Fabregas.

I'm disappointed but if its not to be then fair enough.

Could this mean Fellaini now becomes our #1 target?

We need a couple. Fabregas would have been useful but he won't put in a transfer request.

The team we have got did just win the league, of course a couple of positions need addressing but it wouldn't be to bad.

Don't really understand why we haven't made a few enquiries about Fellaini though.

I would have announced he's not worth any more after the second bid and left it at that. He isn't worth any more so give them all a reality check.

Loving the Bastian Schweinsteiger rumour, he's three times the player Fabregas could ever dream of being.

    Shame it's just bollocks.

Merged. We don't need a new thread for every rumour and half truth told about Fabregas.

What is the release clause at?

And would be worth it to trigger it? Or do you think Everton would sell for a cheaper price after the clause expires?

Bit harsh on Fabregas, but Schwiensteiger is the perfect solution to our midfield, but he'll never leave Bayern. If Pep was willing to sell him I'm sure Bayern fans would have it out for Pep.
