with the Ronaldo 'goal' the ref had his arm in the air signalling a free kick, his arm does not come down to wave play on therefor the freekick had not been taken he was right to book Ronaldo for 'kicking the ball away' or 'delaying the restart of the game'
another one to add to the list https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/12722953/ref-watch-it-was-100-a-penalty
Lol no. We were denied a clear penalty due to an obvious foul in the area, you weren't. Nice to know that Ronaldo is scraping the levels of desparation so much these days that he has to resort to cheating to try to get goals. Ball was just rolled back to keeper to take free kick while ref had hand in the air, even he must have known he didn't stand a chance in hell of getting that. Having said that, the glaring misses from Fred and Rashford at the end mean that a point was good for us in the end.
Looks like Iceland to me based on the rock type, angle of the sun and the fact you told us last week.
I don't know. But rocky, icy and desolate with a not only time but God forgot about look then it can only be Consett.
I’ve not seen the Ronaldo goal. Or not as it where. I need to But should it definitely not been allowed to stand. I ask this because of the abuse aimed at the referees for getting that and many other things wrong or right but where managers and players are hounding the refs. The Manu players surrounded the ref. Abused him. I am wondering where they justified?
As posted previous the ref has his hand in the air, it comes down once the kick is taken His hand in the air allows him to get into position before the ball is kicked And last thing No
At face value, you 'could' potentially argue it. BUT, 3 key things from my perspective: 1) The ball was literally 'rolled' back to Pope to the correct free kick position, it wasn't even a 'pass' and with the proximity of Ronaldo there's no way any defender would play that as a pass to the keeper. 2). Most importantly - the referee kept his arm raised, indicating the free kick had not yet been taken. Pope jest stood there watching Ronaldo be a prat. Didn't even try to intercept him. 3) it was ****ty sportsmanship from Ronaldo and Man United players ALWAYS surround the ref. They have been the most disrespecful team towards refs for decades - encouraged by Fergy - and Ronaldo deserved a card for being a twat.
Whar I would add though is that the penalty decisions evened themselves out. I thought the challenge on Sancho was just as much a pen as the one on Wilson. So it could have been worse, but at least the bad decisions were consistent.
We forget the massive shirt pull on Burn in the penalty area from Varane which again went unpunished Both of these decisions were in the first half and would have made a massive difference before Manure could get their act together
I just find it funny how Ronaldo was virtually crying like a spoilt kid at being subbed. I think his time is up in the EPL. I mean, yeah, he's had an amazing career and is in great shape for his age. World class. But it's just not on for him any more. It's time he took his boots and f***ed off back to Portugal where he can still be a hero.
We should start making the shirts out of tissue paper so they just rip in the oppo defenders' hands as proof.
@Darren Peacock's Ponytail With you dealing with spelling ****-up's on a daily basis and guessing what it may mean. Fancy taking a stab at this one? liywrallt
