No you werent. If I recall you were bigging up Anders Lindergard over De Gea. I would dig up your posts but **** knows which club you were supporting back then, which name you used and everything else.
You may be right, but then Carrick had the same problem when arriving at Utd - struggling to adjust from being Spurs' main playmaker to being a deeplying mid whose main role was to support Scholes. He managed to adapt in the end, and has been a major part of the team ever since. There's no reason Fellaini can't adapt his game, if he puts the effort in and gets some time to change.
That would involve Moyes actually having a tactical approach to a game though - unless you count piling crosses into the box from Young. This has got Liverpool win written all over it sadly.
Fletch has done pretty well - not as good as he was from 08-11, but still good enough that I'd rather have him in there instead of both the immobile twosome at the same time. That would work if we were away from home, but at home we really need to be getting at Liverpool and putting our four attackers up against their shaky defence. Putting Fellaini up there would cut down on Liverpool's attacking threat, but he'd slow down the play too much and blunt out threat at the same time.
I wouldn't be so sure, surely Utd will be up for this If we score first I'll fancy us to kick on but if we dont......surely Utd will attack us at home in this game though and hopefully we'll have our counter game on
Of course United will be up for this. As for Moyes' tactics, look at the Arsenal game at Old Trafford. He actually set us up perfectly ( not said that about Moyes in a while ) to stiffle them and get the win. Not what tactics we should be using at home but very effective.
I think United will probably start well but I imagine it'll be filled with naivety and lack of any real genuine game plan and I really fancy Liverpool to win this. I'm going 2-0. Maybe it's me using reverse psychology on myself though as I want United to win obviously!
I'd like to see Vidic Ferdinand Carrick As if this is the case SASS will be far to quick for them. Cant see Moyes being thisdaft though unfortunately
Whether we win or not depends completely on the line up. Play Young and Valencia and Liverpool will hammer us. We will effectively be playing with 9 men. Add smalling as right back and its 8 men. Add cleverley and well, the match should be abandoned. However if none of those terrible players feature, we have a very good chance. theres a huge difference between possible line ups. weve not seen all our best players at the same time this season for some ****ed up reason ( when available ) so now is the time to start playing the best players every game. Attack Liverpool and we will win, sit back and try to stop Suarez and Sturridge and we will lose. We have the better defence ( unsure how, Liverpools must be awful ) and on form Liverpool have the better attack ( only on form ). So far against the big sides at OT we have beat Arsenal, drawn with Chelsea and lost to Spurs and Everton. Literally no indication of how we will do
That indicates that the bigger the club is, the more likely we are to beat them. Which implies we'll beat Liverpool and get canned by City
I really hope so Sky!!!!!!! And UIR "Play Young and Valencia and Liverpool will hammer us. We will effectively be playing with 9 men. Add smalling as right back and its 8 men. Add cleverley and well, the match should be abandoned." That tickled me
I'm sure you argued the toss with me when I said he was better in an advanced position, can't be bothered looking though.
