    excellent.

two 'gems' from the american stream:

"rooney and wellbeck outnumbered upfront" - not realising that two upfront will obviously be outnumbered by a back four <doh>
"nice ball across the box, no-one taking a gamble on the back post" - not realising it was a scuffed shot which he had to take because he had no support <doh>

that thiago has looked amazing in Barca's other games, Afellay looks awesome too.

the English commentary is now pissing me off though; "our lads", ffs.

Afellay has always looked good when I have watched him, I'm surprised they want rid. Then again they have just signed Sanchez.

I have an ESPN stream, 1 american and 1 Brit, isn't too bad. Hate it when a commentator is so biased that they say "our lads".

exactly, commentators are supposed to be neutral. I'll forgive it when it's English commentary for England, or local commentary, but otherwise: NOOOOOOO!

(I'm actually rooting for Man U for once, but it's still ****)

Barca's LB's looking a bit ****, they could do with some spanish powerhouse that's equally brilliant in defence as he is going forward. Shame i cant think of anyone who would fit the bill <whistle>

sorry i didnt respond since posting the thread. managed to persuade some american bar to play the game on one of their tvs and only just got back now. Had someone telling me that they enjoyed watchin "soccer, but its just a series of plays that just dont come off"

neglected to tell him that FOOTBALL is a free flowing sport without many plays as such.

Anyhoo, thought Manure defended pretty well, and deserved the result. Hate to see Owen gettin on the scoresheet tho...money grabbin b*****d. tbf i thought he should have scored another but completely fluffed it when he sliced/volleyed over the bar!
