The players have to bring that effort to home games, if we let them

Four away games under Woy = 5 points comfortable mid table

Two home games under Woy = 0 points relegation form

Is it the fans fault, not directly but I would imagine that this squad playing at Newcastle would have picked up 4 or 6 points from those two games

The players feel under pressure because they need to win at home but we (especially the Immortals (1881 club) only cheer or sing when we are winning not when we are losing, today the Manure fans were leaving when it was looking to be a draw so we are not alone in that

The fans need to be cheering the players on regardless of the score and be the 12th man like the away sup[porters were today

Rant over but we as fans need to make the Vicarage a hostile environment where opposing team do not feel comfortable playing us

The only thing I disagreed with GT was when he said he wanted away supporters to feel welcome at our ground, NO, NO, NO

Safe yes but welcome no

Anfield is a fortress because the fans and the team make it a hard place to get a result

If we give up now the players might just as well sit on the touchline and see how many goals the opposition can put past us

Just watched the highlights on the Watford site

We actually did better than I thought, if only Sarr thought were were playing Liverpool two years ago

If we can show that fight on Sunday we may be in with a chance

That’s the key isn’t it Duggie consistency and desire - we see glimpses and then put in a piss poor performance the very next game.

Problem is the next game after a good away performance is at home, and apart from Villa, Man U, Chelsea and Spurs we have been shocking at home regardless of who the manager is

We need to be up for it on Sunday against Arsenal, even a draw would be encouraging

Roys plan seems to be clean sheet first and then nick a goal on the counter attack, not pretty but away from home it has worked so far

...and patently does not work at home as we're gifting an away point before we've kicked off. Need to be on the front foot - though against arsenal I'm not so sure?
Why I'm not a manager reason #4,398
