If we had applied the same tactics of saving players for the Liverpool game we would have come away with nowt.

We could easily find we pick up more points at home against the better sides than the relegation threatened ones as the season gets serious.
At least teams like Man U will come and attack giving us more openings, while Fulham will probably park the bus and get a goal on the break.

Just go for it in both games, if you try to target one or the other, usually it blows up in your face.

Makes me laugh to see people underestimating Fulham so badly. I hope Brucey and the team aren't under this illusion or we'll get ****ing mullered. Jol just seemed to have lost it and that conveyed to the players. They are revigorated and a far better side now since he's gone. They also have a better squad than us and serious quality up front with Berbatov and Bent. It will be far from easy.

Excellent analysis Ricardo. The yellow card situation has to be considered. How many of our players are on 4? We definitely should play our strongest line up against both teams but if YCs are a consideration for some players I'd be ok with any or all of Faye, Macca, and Boyd starting a game. Fulham will have Dempsey back I believe and he could be a real nuisance, but Berbatov may be a doubt, and Man U have Van Persie, Nani, and maybe Welbeck out.

As it happens, none. Davies is on 5 cards and then we have Meyler, Huddlestone, and Figueroa on 3. For that to be an issue they'd need to all get booked in both games for them to miss Liverpool, so **** it. Play them all against Man U. If Meyler gets booked then maybe rest him against Fulham (depending who they've got available in CM by that game) so that he can definitely do his man marking job on Gerrard again.

Dempsey wont be back with Fulham until January thanks to the transfer window.

That sucks. Dempsey was rank for Seattle. I wanted them to start him against us before he got on his feet again.

Also missing Carrick and Fellaini. Their MF doesn't look that strong.

I think we got stung by Palace, hopefully the team will have learned their lesson.

Two tough games but if we apply ourselves right we can get something from them both.

Fulham have conceded 8 in there last two games. They're poor. 3 points is a must.

It's going to be a rough game I think. They're likely to be playing some younger or fringe (to them) type players who will want to prove a point.
