Quite incredible that anyone could vote for any other player than Taarabt as man of the match tbh. It smacks of being against the man and not the player. He was the best player on the pitch by many, many miles!!
Yes, Thought Barton had a very good game yesterday, for the reasons I gave. As I said we'd have lost by more without him. All good teams need a couple of midfield players that are all over the pitch, or box to box which Barton is. Sure his ball control and passing is not always good enough, but I thought that was ok yesterday, and defensively he was very good. He sorted a lot of mess in our own box.
