I know plan B rarely works, but playing our open offencive game, could well play into Citeh's hands, they are shredding teams at home this season, and we are on one of our worst runs in a long time, and injuries are mounting too, and we do not have a front line to talk about either, so it will be a long and hard game tomorrow, and if we can play our defencive game, then it just might protect our goal difference!............
I know where your coming from but how can naturally attacking players suddenly be expected to play on the back foot/defensively. Better to stick to what you know and what your good at surely.
......................Vorm................... ..............Amat - Ash - Chico ......................Britton.................... Tiendalli - Shelvey - Amat- De Guzman - Ben ......................Dyer..........................
WE can play that way, we did under Sousa for 12 months, and under Rodgers many times, many in our team know how to do it, but word on the street is, that Laudrup is not afraid of Citeh, so it looks very much like we'll play our usual game, and with no cutting edge up front, we'll get shredded, just hope it is not as bad as Spurs!..............
..............Now that's funny, man I'd love to see that line up facing Citeh, the commentators would have a field day, and little Nath up front on steroids!.............. please log in to view this image
Final word from me Phil, how many teams have City beat 6-0 this season?, do City blow hot and cold?, have faith lad.
.............like he did last year when we played a very good Everton. The score .............0-0. One of the best points of the season. ..............and who gives a **** about commentators?
http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/News/Article.aspx?id=460 Surprisingly negative swans view on the City forum,is it a widely held view?
I know a lot of Swans fans and read a lot of forums....the only person I can think of who wants rid of Laudrup is DaiSwan on here! Is it just me or is there self-contradiction evident in that fella's piece on your forum? He's worried about a split in our camp between the Spanish players and the rest, and he lays the blame for that firmly at Laudrup's door.... Then when he is asked who the best signings this summer are he replies; "Amat and Pozuelo" both Spanish, both only joined on the cheap because of Laudrup and his Spanish contacts. He's down on the team in general and Laudrup's tactics, avoiding relegation is the best we can hope for apparently....and the way Laudrup uses wingers is killing our attacking threat.... yet when asked how we'll get on against the most in form team at home in the Prem...a team that costs £200m + he reckons we'll get a draw.
Jimmy Geaves used to say that on ITV Saturday lunchtime show Saint and Greavsie with Ian St John .It was a great show-reviewing the weeks football.
I just watched the "pink ferrari" challenge, there looks like no disharmony at the squad there, we are just going through a sticky patch, are still in mid table, I really don't know why a minority are getting their knickers in a twist. We have been unlucky that we have 2 players injured that happen to be our only real threat up front, although in fairness, Vasquez played well against Valencia, and like most players, will get better with a run of games, he certainly is no *whats his face* of last season. Thats how bad he was, I can't remember his name lol. But anyhow, Vasquez is young, has the ability, and just needs some game time. As has been mentioned, the Europa league has caused us 1 problem, continuity, we haven't fielded the same team for 2 successive games, or even remotely close at times, so how can players form bonds on the pitch, not to mention with travelling, we have limited time in training, you only have to look at Spurs to see what happens when you take a team, and add too many new players whilst having a horrid fixture list and less time training, along with squad rotations. And if it can happen to a team like Spurs, then why are some getting their knickers twisted at it happening to us. I am hoping we don't take a full squad to St Gallen, as we have a busy fixture list over the next month, think it is 9/10 games in the next 31 days. And if we go out of the Europa, then so be it, its been nice, but we are not going to win it, so it doesn't really matter to me, if that makes sense. I would say our primary goal is survival, but then at the same time, I am not worried about being dragged into the mix. We are 11th (game in hand which most likely wont get anything from) and haven't been playing well, with an overcrowded fixture list, yet there are still 9 teams below us, that tells us something. Even in our worst form, there are 9 teams worse than us right now.
