Funniest thing I saw was when we played Scunthorpe a couple of years ago and drew a bigger crowd than Chelsea for their game that night... against Inter Milan.
Bloody tell me about it. Local shop wanted 35p for a freddo! So I walked out in disgust. Partly because of daylight robbery, partly because I only had 30p change. Hard times
Completely disagree. i can see things going very very wrong as they have to sell players at some point to bring their books back in line or face missing out on CL football. this in turn will cause players to leave and make it harder to sign players without increasing income. No CL money also means less income, less worldwide exposer and less fans meaning less revenue. the FFP rules were almost certainly aimed at City and Chelsea, chelsea have been trying to get their house in order while city are not at a level where they can do the same so will still need to spend. Another thing to consider is selling players, even as good as the ones at City will be tough due to the insane wages they are on and the daft money city paid for some. They are bound to lose money on many players. Its possible none of the above will happen but if anyone believes it doesnt concern City then they are mad. The next 2-3 years will be telling, 2 or 3 league titles, a couple of CL wins and they might just do it..... but that isnt easy no matter how much you spend, chelsea couldnt do it ( CL ) so time will tell if City can.
Fall off the pace? No they won't. I have a feeling they're going to steamroller the entire league this season.
Obviously they will. But if my maths are correct, that's only 6 teams. 4 more spots up for grabs then for this lucky top 10 finish. I don't think we will sell anyone in January to be honest.
Why? Why do you deserve success? What have you lot and City fans done to deserve success? Utter bollocks, you deserve nothing more than any other set of fans do.
Lads, please leave the Man U fans alone, you know they're all ill. Still suffering from Sick Swan fever Oh can someone close this thread, why's it on our board anyway?
It's been a fair few years since Man U fans start wumming and biting us. I quite like kicking it around with the 'big boys'. Makes a change from Mackems and Villa fans comparing trophies we all won 30+ years a go to decide who is the bigger club.
If kicking it with the big boys means getting all excited because one club from a city 150 miles away beat another club from the same city 150 miles away then yes, you are kicking it with the big boys.
All i heard then was herp derp deeerp herpa derp Edit: I've just realised that you must be a Smiths fan...apologies for any offence caused.
