No its not valley and you know it.....its trying to be clever........Im still waiting mods?? or are you going to prove breezy and terr right...
For me a tough game against a Man city who will be very hard to break down. I think our best bet is to get at them down the flanks (not really Laudrups style but I hope he will see it). In the middle they look laboured for pace and I think we can close them down here effectively using Ki and Britton. Michu and Routledge can cause them problems at the back so all we really need is a bit of luck and an on form Williams to Get a point. don't see a win here but we can give them a good run for their money.
To be honest, they looked tired and devoid of ideas against Ajax, hope they play like that against us, because I fancy us to get something then!.......... Dai what are you whimpering about, not like you!.............. please log in to view this image
I was wondering the same thing when I saw the result. Could mean the are a little more tired and lacking in confidence, which will be good for us. But on the other hand, they may come out all guns blazing wanting to hammer us and forget all about the last match. They certainly will want to make sure they don't lose it, otherwise that will really hit their confidence. So I think it will be a tough game for us, but I still think we could get a draw. We'll find out soon enough.
The latest rumour, and I mean rumour is that the players are not happy with Mancini. Now where have we heard that before, I stress again, it is only a rumour and might very well be rubbish. Onto the game, I would go with Moore up front, only lying back a little bit, just in front of Michu. ML makes a good point about getting in the box a bit later trying to confuse their players a bit. Might work, might not, only one way to find out. Whatever, it will be a tough game and if they are on song, we`ll probably get mullered, but it starts at 0-0 and if we can get an early goal who knows what will happen. Stranger things have happened, but I`ll be well happy with a point. please log in to view this image
I think so too, they looked like a team of individuals the other night and with mancini's comments as well, this could be a good time to have a go , and I do mean have a go at them!
You just dont know with the Swans, thats the beauty of us isnt it, on paper, and i mean paper! it should be Man city by about 3 clear goals, on the other hand the may have a stinker and us a stormer and that will level it out. Im like some of the other posters here who would gladly take a good team performance no matter the result..of course we can dream for 3pts, or even 1pt but it is unlikely . Fingers crossed
Well nobody is giving us a chance with the general consensus being that Man city will be a wounded animal and batter us!! It's all set up nicely for a bloody good upset
Was at the Ajax game - Ajax played the Swansea way - possession, tempo, youthful vibrancy AND were really up for it Ipso Facto - If we play the Swansea way, with belief .......we should win
The Swansea way ?? Dont let Brenden Rodgers hear you say that.. He invented the Swansea way y'know ?? He has a big book about it and everything..
4 days before we looked like a team willing to scrap for one another at the hawthorns. The ajax game was a tactical f*ck up from beginning to end and this gam cant come soon enough to give them the opportunity to get back on track. We are likely to be without Zabaleta,Maicon,Silva,Garcia and Rodwell through injury and have Milner out through suspension,so i think we will line up like this; ----------------------------------------------------------------------HART------------------------------------------------------- ----------------RICHARDS-----------------KOMPANY-------------------------------------NASTASIC-------------------KOLOROV -----------------------------------------------------YAYA---------------------BARRY--------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------NASRI---------------------TEVEZ---------------------------------SINCLAIR-------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------AGUERO------------------------------------------------ Surprised to see Swansea returning all the upper floor tickets, seem to remember you selling out last year but as that was the first premier away game thats probably not surprising.Have a good trip up if youre coming to the game, the bulls head pub opposite picadilly railway is one of a number of pubs thats ok for away fans to drink in before and after.
When i see that team i realise that Man city are on a different planet when it comes to players, our defence is so dodgy id be amazed if we conceeded less than 2... i do think we will score though. Thanks for the info Paul, im a bit suprised about that return, usually the Jack army travel in large numbers, but times are hard down in s wales and with crimbo on the way i can maybe see why .
Dont worry about Dai, he is a shrewd cokkie !! he has had loads of you danggling on his line for months/years !! its how he rolls, he pulls you in the he drags you out ! im wise to his moves but i dont half enjoy the way he plays some people on here Daiswan is one of the treasures of this forum ,ive always fought his corner when needed, truth is though, its never needed ! that old bugger is more switched on then he lets on, thats how he rolls
