Bunch of bloody wimps, why did they not get at Man c from the start ?, Christ do they HAVE to set up like that every time. Beat leeds or Poyet out, as this team is boring as hell and 2 strikers Gus (if you are here) massive money must be spent or I am not renewing.

This might be controversial but I am not having Billy Jones one little bit.

I've had enough of Vergini too. If you're going to offer precisely zero going forward, at least stop the oppo crossing the ball easily. Both terrible.

Said it before get Coates out of our club now.
How does Gomez n Buckley get on the pitch before Giachh n Alvarez?
Delighted with our performance and we showed we can play going forward.

Well I am un happy and happy.

Un happy with the result. But Giacc & Alvarez are starting to get up to speed now. Both contributed well going forward and looked creative. Its exactly what we need. A 3 of AJ Giacc Alvarez behind Wickham or Fletch.

Playing out of position tbf mate, he is a RB

After watching that we look a much more counter attacking outfit when Alvarez/Giacc play, how Gomez/Buckley start before them is a beyond me!

Spirited performance, shows we can score goals and even against the bigger teams!

Can definitely take positives from that and push on!

It's those 5 magicians which is the reason going toe to toe with man city is too dangerous, we were forced to thanks to a fantastic goal and if not for Pants they could have scored 8. Proud of the performance though, up against a different class and didn't let ourselves down. Pants and Rodwell were top draw. Stinks to high heaven Lampard being allowed on the pitch. Hope we're speaking to our lawyers.

Jones is not a LB but then who do we play at LB?. Same with Vergini he is not a full back. We need Rev and PVA fit, they are both natural full backs who offer going forward and defending.

It would have been going some to get any kind of result out of that fixture. unlucky lads. at least we had a bloody go.

some cracking games around the league today by the looks of things. loads of draws, so not such a bad day for us.

Jesus mate, a team that cost 600 million beats us at home by 1 goal and you post this, give your head a shake. We lack offensive players that's all to really compete but it's got to be hard to get them in as the last 5 or 6 managers couldn't do much about that either. Poyet is doing the best job he can with the squad.

I have hopes Jones will be 90% better at RB. He didn't back himself to go outside on his left foot once.

Vergini is too slow, I wouldn't be looking to renew his stay in the summer. Lovely touches at times but their impact is nil.

I was generally pleased with the performance though, a great effort really. Have to say Giacch was unbelievably good and Ricky was a million times better than v Hull

Losts of positives, Giacc and Alverez both injured for long periods but now look like they are getting up to speed. We have Rev and PVA to come back as well. We scored 2 goals away from home against one of the best teams in Europe.
