While Man City away is a real toughie, bare facts are they could and should be at least 4 down after 60mins, they've posed zero threat to Joe Hart and until they get a decent centre forward they wont be anywhere near comfortable. Sorry.
Bolton could have beaten QPR by a lot more than they did on Saturday, equally if QPR's goal had been allowed etc they probably would have gone on to win. Sunderland could easily have been 4-0 down to Liverpool on Saturday as well, football is far too hypothetical. Fact is Swansea have made City work hard to for their goal, I never got that feeling with QPR or Norwich on the weekend, or any of the other sides that will be down there.
????? We should've been 3nil up against Bolton before they even had a shot (which they scored with their first). Swansea have been roasted by City for 60mins and should be 5nil down. I fail to see your comparison.
Sorry District, though i agree they will hurt people with their counter attacks, i'm 100% with Bakes on this one. Having seen them last year and today, and the fact they always struggle against physical opposition mean they will have a hard time coping this year. They were third best of the promoted teams last year and still is in my eyes. Party time at Ettihad now, think we will be #19 in about 20 mins
We could sit down and draw out hypothetical conclusions for every game but it would be pointless, every team could argue the same thing. Arsenal could say they should have been home and dry but RVP and Gervinho wasted chances. Newcastle could say the same thing. Chelsea could say they should have been 3 up, I'm sure in Stokes eyes they could say similar, same applies for United, WBA etc. Fact remains that both Bolton and QPR had clear chances to score more than they did. QPR before the 2nd goal and Bolton after.
Swansea have had 0 chances and Man City have had about 200. So on what basis do you see them staying up comfortably this season, when as I have previously stated, they have no edge going forwards and only pass the ball around the backline and midfield?
