Which is mind boggling when you consider Laudrup was sacked and Monk installed as manager to protect the 'Swansea Way', when we all know the Swansea Way starts with Leon at the heart of the midfield.
Loved the way Leon made himself available to the Ash & Fed. At one point Leon looked like he was playing as s sweeper, but by him coming for the ball opened up spaces for Ash and Fed to go forward. More of that please!!!!
He also goes out of his way to cover our full backs when they bomb forwards (or in Taylors case when he cocks it up).
Anyone notice the extra mile Ki was going to make a play this game , and was more fierce in the tackle also. One of his best performances imo
And to think that One of his X team mates dumped on him this season? Monk really upset Leon when he told him he was unlikely to get much first team football this seaon, matter of fact I know Leon was very upset, and Monk still doesn't know he had this effect on Leon; because Leon did not want to show how he felt, but it hurt, and it was the wrong decision by Monk, and I'M pleased that Curtis has addressed this issue........
