Away at City , more shots than them , more on target 7 and for the first time I can remember ever , we out fouled someone ...gutsy performance
Wrong result, we deserved a point if not more. Much better performance which we can take great heart from.
Gut wrenchingly unlucky lads .. was obviously hoping you could nick a point against one of the sides that 'knowledgeable pundits' are predicting will put upstarts like us firmly in our place... good luck for the rest of the season... cracking effort today.
He hit the barn door at last, and knocked it off it`s hinges !! if he can keep doing that then he will redeem himself / maybe Curts has put the belief back in him combined with a better set up play around him ?
... unfortunately not ... we are hard at work preparing to be put firmly in our place by Chelski on Monday evening. ... I'm just hoping they won't benefit from a similarly huge slice of luck like Man City have had today..
A really good performance....some pride shown again today. Fair play to Curtis and the team for changing it up at last. It made us look far more effective and a threat. Based on today we will be fine. Letting Monk go seems to have freed up the players today and that can only be good for the rest of the season and the new manager. Curtis as assistant would be good but I doubt he'd want the main job.
It was a beautiful thing to see Leon skinning Bony a couple of times today ! he is still pivitol in working our swansea way that we need to get back too now as it worked well with the glimpses we saw of it today ?
Never been prouder of a team and their coach ......Its a big plus to know you can take you're time selecting a new coach ....at this point the biggest decision will be if we need one ..
Good question Roof.... is this the left field appointment none of us saw coming? Can't wait for West Ham.
That was a credible shift that hopefully can get us back on track, shame that Williams didn't stick closer to Bony, very soft goal, but my concern is our left flank, it so easy to target that with the way Taylor is playing, hopefully next season we will have a new LB, but other than that a great performance, we should be proud of.............
Well Curts could be the longest appointed temporary manager if we`re lucky ? I know he doesnt have much experience at number 1 in the prem but ?
I have been saying that for years, but you get these managers like Laudrop and Monk who think they know better............
I don't want to get to far ahead of myself from this performance but I keep looking back in anger always knowing within myself that I'd put our bench up against anyone's
Swansea made us look poor, the work rate was immense, certainly didn't deserve to lose and I thought overall were probably the better side
