Nice article. I found another. For those people who like to look back and have a recap, before looking forward again. Saints rebirth from 2009: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...n-years-sitting-second-bottom-League-One.html
Well I wish I could say I shared everyone elses confidence regarding this one Don't get me wrong we are capable of a result but I'm not expecting anything. Whether or not Bertrand is fit will have a big say on how this goes imo.
I agree...we can win, but not assuming anything. I won't jump off a cliff if we do lose as I am certain that we will do well this season.
A good win (by 3 or more goals) would see us above Everton. That's not too much to ask is it? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
Funny reading the Blue Moon forum; apparently we "played well on the break in Milan" and will "park the bus" tomorrow.
If we carry on playing like we have lately, then we can definately get something out of this game, with Charlie and Nathan back, hopefully we will convert some chances. I'm going for a 2-2 draw with Charlie and VVD scoring our goals.
The comments from the City forum is probably because we conceded so few goals so they assume we "park the bus". Obviously not been arsed to actual watch us play to see its through simple great defending from all eleven players. They hopefully will be surprised when they get to see us play live.
Think it was a good call as well, he would have lost his rag at the Siro, some of their antics would have got right up his nose!
Pretty astonishing that anyone can accuse us of parking the bus. We do the exact opposite of that under Puel. It's possession, possession and movement!
