We'd need to learn to retain the ball and pass it to do that other wise I'm sure we would have before now. Isn't half the problem that the squad isn't good enough to play anything but Counter football?

 

As much as we have to retain the ball at places like City, Chelsea etc with our current squad it ain't going to happen. You correctly mentioned...we missed the boat in the Summer by falling short of bring in players of this caliber. Let's go high tempo and press them all over the park. If we sit back then the inevitable will happen. Would rather go down fighting. Great experience to give young Beadling playing between Coates and O'Shea...if were not going to play 5 at the back then it's pointless playing PVA. We are limited with what we can do at the moment...but the transfer window is only a week away. Hopefully Sam can work some magic but will not happen if his hands are tied. Wish we could have ten M'Vila's....lol...then we could play possession football....

 

It's scary just how limited we are. Hardly a massive injury list but injury crisis it is imo
