Thanks to Mr Peter Taylor Wise came to us for one last very big payday, he was at the end of his career and could not believe just how lucky he was! off course he took the P he was not at all interested in Leicester just how much money he could get out of us, one way or another! In other words Wise did not give two f***s about us. Mahrez was taken from nowhere and we developed him, and now he has dumped on everybody in this great club, imo he is by far more disrespectful.
Although id welcome him back this article makes some very good points https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...were-right-to-block-his-manchester-city-move/
Good article. The bit that strikes me the most is near the end where it says he wants CL but hasn’t got the appetite to try with Leicester. This is a big problem. Imagine if players did stick at smaller clubs to push them on. Ok only 4 teams can qualify a season but would we see more teams have a chance and less dominance from the big boys if players weren’t so quick to follow the money and think their only chance to win things and play in the CL. I believe we have a real chance with the FA cup this season. Whether this will ruin our mojo I don’t know but he could be the difference and he clearly isn’t interested. Since when did money and playing in the CL come before winning a cup for players
Maguire has said the players will welcome Mahrez back. He needs to put his toys in back in his pram now. Enough is enough.
Well we play Man City away next so I cant see Mahrez playing Hopefully he sorts himself out back for Sheffield United in the cup
No word as of yet. The Algeria manager has told him to go back to training He also said Mahrez deserves better then us Cheeky ****er. Mahrez would be nowhere without the platform and opportunity we gave him
Sick of this utter bollocks. Nobody questioned Southampton when they had the nerve to tell Liverpool to do one last summer. Mahrez is a Leicester player under contract with no release clause. We get to decide his fate. End of story.
I don’t understand all this media talk. Why does everyone in the country feel like it was Mahrez’s divine right to be sold on deadline day without a club paying his value? Genuinely don’t get it
.... because it was a team managed by Pep, the media's darling, that came in for him and we are the bunch of upstarts that upset the status quo ... but, essentially, should be content to be a mere conduit to the Sky 5 ... simples .... so glad our owners ain't fussed to play along
Different story but quite enjoyed our refusal to deal with West Ham. Our owners don't stand for no sh..
Whilst I agree, we will also want to sign someone from West Ham at some point and they will remember that...
Well there is no one in the squad I would get too excited about atm I think they would want to buy much more from us
It was widely reported that he wasn't going to be training today - but that the club are soon to meet with his representatives to resolve matters and that could involve the PFA - not surprising that we are not desperate to have him involved against City at the weekend in all fairness
