John Percy- Man City have made an inquiry for Riyad Mahrez.. but #lcfc in no mood to sell and a £60m bid would be instantly dismissed. Valuation significantly higher now following the Coutinho & Van Dijk deals this month
It’s simple: no at all costs till the end of the season. He won’t be worth less then so why would we?
@FosseFilberto @JohnTheFox and any other leicester fan. You reckon Mahrez will get dropped for tomorrows match?
Personally no ... I'd be amazed if we'd sell before the summer unless an absolutely daft bid came in now ... I doubt the club would take anything under £100m to sell during this window ... why should they? Liverpool fans raging on about Mo Salah but he hasn't achieved as much as Mahrez has in the EPL and is 2 years older ... how much would they sell him for? ... but the fact that Man City are interested in Mahrez shows just how good he really is ... not that Leicester fans needed telling
A day and half to sort out a £90M+ transfer Not going to happen unless Man City offer us De Bruyne in a swap. Else we are hardly going to force it through
He can’t sign a piece of paper if he’s playing But in seriousness, I reckon given how close the match is to the deadline he’ll be gone or playing, as in it’ll be decided by then. It could be the first indication we get where he will be
okay, i'm taking your advice on this Johnny boy. If i lose my fantasy football game because of you then i'm going to ban you on the PL board......as soon as brb makes me mod
... no buddy I'm a realist ... Kante was sold because he had a release clause ... Drinkwater because we had better players here or coming ... Mahrez was told he wouldn't be leaving and hasn't ... he has just handed in a transfer request apparently according to some sources, which might change the dynamic ... but ONLY if our owners have had enough AND the club's valuation is matched (or there is an agreement in writing with him at a certain value) .. one thing for sure is that we have already rejected a £50 million bid out of hand .... .... as to 'little dreamer' ... I'm yet to be wrong on a transfer since our current owners took over
Oh if it’s for that drop him anyway. If he plays and that means he hasn’t got his transfer he’ll just be sulking so won’t get you any extra points
it was in response to him starting or not. Not whether he'll be transferred out . Even if Mahrez shat in puels car you'd think he was playing as you love him yeah i think i'm sacking him off as he's just handed his transfer request in. It's more because i've played my wildcard so it's pivotal i get all this correct
Im still not convinced he will leave but after todays developments I dont think he will be in the squad for tomorrow
He's the most skilful footballer I've seen at the club and I saw my first game in the 1969/70 season ... so as a footballer, yes, I 'love him' .... but whilst I don't want to see him leave - he'd go with my absolute best wishes if he does and warm applause every time he returns ... owes us nothing ... the term 'legend' is used too freely these days ... but in the context of what (but more so how) he helped the club to achieve, he deserves that accolade ...
