No way. I'll be surprised if we don't keep the same starting line up from yesterday. McEachran has failed to impress so far and hasn't quite fitted in imo. Why try and fix a midfield that ain't broken? If Kemy was available I'd start him to bring in some steel but he's injured.

contain them best we can and keep score respectable first half, then 2nd half keep the ball as much as pos again to stop them going up the gears against us and maybe nick a goal if we get any free kicks within siggys range. If we can keep the score close near the end then confidence may prompt us to attack more ! swans win 1-0
and please keep tate away from games till we sure were 100% safe !

I would start the same line up also aussie , I just think McEachran gets the start against Man City . Somebody said that the McEachran loan cost us a million , yikes !! . Although I wouldn't question Josh's ability as a top prospect , I do question our need in the middle of midfield for him where we are fairly strong , especially considering how late the loan came through with Josh a bit out of shape . If it happened during the summer ok , but not in January . I wouldn't say it was wasted money , just not spend in the traditional Swansea way .

Can't see where that figure has come from, Breezy. McEachran has a lot of talent I've no doubt, but he hasn't fitted in well with us just yet. Maybe needs a couple of reserve run-outs.

There`s only one thing the swans need to do when you play city on Sunday if he plays and that's close down Mario Balotelli and if that's possible. Because he scored at Bolton he scored at Blackburn. and he scored at tottenham. do that and your on winner.

I would keep Josh well away from the starting line up,he aint up to it !!

Has made zero impressiion for me and doesnt look like he has it in him to get involved in the 50/50 battles, early days maybe but from what ive seen he looks massively overated, nowhere near joe allens class. The boy can certainly pick a pass and has the skills but the other aspects of his game seem to be non existant<ok>

He's had 1 start & 1 sub appearance I think , with 11 games remaining . I just don't understand the timing of the loan . Great player , wrong system IMO . I get the feeling Buck wanted to show he could get McEachran without thinking it through , just an opinion though . I do think Rodgers will really experiment with this game & Josh will be front & center , just a hunch .

Bit disappointed about McEachran as i thought he would be very good but has so far failed to impress (must have caught something at Chelsea before coming to us!!) As for the Man City game I think a point is there for us if we play at our best. Key battle is going to be keeping the ball away from them in the middle of the park...everything goes through Toure and Barry so stick on those two and try and contain them best we can...hopefully we can then hit them on the counter. We will need to be a lot more clinical than we are to get 3 points in this one...someone should remind Sinclair before the game! "Remember between the two upright posts and under the vertical one!!"

Hi Norway, hope the ear problem resolves itself soon.

It was definitely a very good weekend. 3 points, and I'm still blowing bubbles!!!

The "seasonal collapse" seems to have come a little early this year, a bit like the daffodils in my garden, but I'm not complaining. They have time to recover, unfortunately.

We will have to be on top of our game, and Man. City to be off theirs, for us to get any return from the upcoming game.

    1-1 is my prediction.

Do not start JM. Does not suit our style of play at all and our Leon is our star player in that position.

I for one will be chuffed if Mario doesn't play. What a class act he is. But this is a team with world class players in their reserves so the task will be huge, but I really think we can do another Arsenal. Be chuffed with a draw though.

We are a much better team now than the one that started the away fixture. Better on defense - Caulker is in for Tate, Rangel has caught up to the pace. Better in midfield - no more Gower, Allen on the boil, as is Sig. Better up front - Graham has been scoring, Dyer has adjusted to the level but won't be able to play, which absolutely sucks. The only player who has not shown much in the way of improvement or delivery as been Sinclair that is compared to everyone else who is a regular. Also in that first match Vorm had never even had a practice with the rest of the squad, came in cold, and played on pure class alone.

If we we play with the same tempo and execution as we did against Arsenal we could win this game. Man City have shown that they can be a brilliant power-house, but they can also have games of bland average. Either way we are not the same team that played them in August, we are much better. In August, we played our game for stretches but with no real penetration or threat, and were still somewhat over awed by the occasion. We have our heads in a much better place now.

Agree with most if not all of that, YJ. But Man City have improved too. Immensely. If they have an off away-day and we play to our capabilities we could open up the title race good and proper.
