Referring to the announcement, this is obviously inconvenient and disappointing and, in some cases, bloody annoying. However, it is right to be taking such measures and hopefully the problem will be resolved asap. In the meantime, if you don't want to risk your post being overwritten with the position at the time immediately prior to the appearance of the announcemenit, it is probably best to not post anything that you cannot re-produce.

It seems to be a popular choice to not risk recovering the database and just stay with what we can see now and move on.

You will struggle for a sensible reply from most of the mods on this forum, you and Oddy are as good as gold but most of the mods, particularly on the football boards are complete tossers!

I often wonder why half of them are mods, as a fair few of them are some of the biggest wums on here. Yet they are given the powers to ban and edit other's posts
