I would have thought it would be better for Wilks to relocate to the Hull area and get away from the bad influences.
It's a cracking name he has though. Puts me in mind of either a Dickens character, or someone from an old Episode of Emmerdale Farm.
Ahhh..That would be Henry Wilks, proprietor of the Woolpack, back in the day when Dolly Skilbeck was a barmaid?(not that I ever watched it)
It's an ear worm. Every bad bit of play from now, you'll hear 'nay, nay Mr Wilks' echoing through your mind.
You have my sympathy, actually. Mz Kempton watches every American Cop thing, Fire service, Hospital etc going. NCIS, MIAMI FIRE, 911, all that. I suppose I should be grateful for the fact every bird in those series is an absolute stunner.
Back in those days it was my Dear departed Mam and silence during the soaps was compulsory or you got the sole of her slipper round your lugWilks and Brearly, that was who ran the pub....Wilks and Brearly,it conjures up an image of some back st solicitors¬aries in some rural hamlet like Driffield?
Oh my Mam watched em all. Prisoner Cell Block H as well. Vinegar tits, B, Lizzy. My mother-in-law is the spitting image of Lizzy
I know Peter,I used to live there....I was just trying to embellish the image of a Dickensian Driffield, which probably was a hamlet back on the day.
Not at all, but one did move to Peckham. Maybe not but she does look a bit like Cassandra. please log in to view this image
