Lets face it the Welsh Wigan are a stepping stone for Laudrup. However I dont see Everton paying the comp and I think they realise if hes does well then as a world known name hed soon attract interest elsewhere and leave there too. If comp was agreed though im convinced hed quit Swansea. With Wigan gone they will be the undisputed minnows of the PL next season. Malky is more likely to be approached -would he go? Probably. But not as likely as Laudrup. While we are not the size of club of Everton we are far bigger than Swansea and with stadium expansion taking us over 30,000 for 2014 Malky might see Cardiff as a better long term bet. Whatever happens hope its done quickly. I dont see Everton being relegated next season. I dont think Cardiff will but there is a chance - what happens to Malky if we are struggling. He will have seen whats happened to Adkins and McDermott. The Welsh Wigan as well are on borrowed time. Relegation - probably not but with Europe it wouldnt suprise me if they go down next season.
i cant see everton going for laudrup, he has a patchy record in management, his name has got him jobs in la liga but i think there are plenty of managers out there who will be ahead of him in any everton shortlist. things will only get better for cardiff once the debt is paid down and the stadium increased, everton on the other hand will only get worse, at best the next manager will have to work miracles to keep them where they are, let alone any hopes of improving their league position. if you take money out of the equation, if i were a manager myself i'd think twice before going to everton. if you dont get off to a flier you could easily be on the scrap heap and there wont be any PL teams interested in you any more.
Hell these redtits make me laugh, they also remind me of that Jethro Tull album, 'Thick as a Brick'!..........................
Bwahaha. Step outside the UK and nobody has heard of you. Yep, really big. It is not enough to be in the Premier League, you actually have to impress there as well and Cardiff are not a stand out team. The only foreign folks who will know about your club are the creditors.
thats the joy of the exposure of being in the PL VRD. pre premier league SCFC (yes i know, it must seem like an age to you), step outside wales and no-one has heard of swansea, let alone the UK.
Bitter Jack alert!!! 2nd City Syndrome. I couldnt give a sh!t about foreign folk knowing about us. Maybe they do , maybe they dont.!!! Whats that all about???? Why do some Jacks get so wound up about being a MUCH smaller club than Cardiff. Its too easy. Better not start on the begging buckets!!!!!!

You should worry where the other 34 will come from even if you get 6 against us. Which I doubt if youve still got Gary Monk in the team.
I'm looking forward to the derby, it will be 'A passion play' but there is 'A time for everything'. I sincerily hope we'll past our first season test with 'Flying Colours' and put your 'Lights Out' which would result in 'Mayhem, Maybe'. It would be sad for you to be 'Living in the Past'. Just hope that for neither manager it's 'Cherio' though it would please the 'Paparazzi'.
Not looking good for you redtits!..................... Link: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...ootball-news (Daily Express :: Football Feed) You are now the front runners, with some big money on Mackay getting the job, the odds are 2/1 to get the job! Oh dear...
Has Alky ruled himself out yet from the chance? Even if it never happens, you know you have made it to the Prem when the press vultures gather.....unfortunately they are often right.
Very true swim, very true! shame for Cardiff though, they've been crocked before they've started!...................
I'm sure you'll help us through it. It will actually be a novalty for you having a manager for more than one season. How will you cope?
And you think they've heard of Wales ? I spent many years working out of the UK, and its not just Swansea or Cardiff they never heard of its the whole country. A lot think Wales is in England, and we all live near London. Being in the Premier League helps in some ways, you will find out when you start there. And all this Cardiff are a far bigger club than Swansea is irrelevant, all that matters is what happens on the pitch, if you get that wrong you are down. So you be as large as you like, just look at where Newcastle and Sunderland are, they are huge clubs playing crap, being big clubs doesn't help when you can't win regularly .
