If Cardiff fans started singing Boyce songs i dont think i could go.

That would be a sign of the plastic takeover.

Thats for the pink army down west.

I like the new stadium but there should be a standing area as there should be in all grounds.

Mmm, the drummer. NOt sure what I think of that. I mean, take Poutsmouth fans. SOme of the loudest in the country, aided by a drummer. Drives me ****ing nuts but it seems to me that there's no pleasing you rubber. Mind you, Max Boyce. That is a step too far. Probably even for the Jacks.

Ah! Now that's a different matter all together mate, and I couldn't agree with you more. While I honestly think that stadia had to move with the times, the game itself has suffered badly as a result of this celebrity driven society in which we live. The whole ethos of the game has been lost by tycoons buying success for their adopted clubs. This in turn leads to players who think they are bigger than the game and earning more money than the people who save peoples lives. I could go on for ages about how the game has gone downhill, but it's under my skin and has been for over 50 years.

Aber, anytime you want to use your political passions and set up a movement for change in the game, you can count on me to sign up for the cause mate. <ok>

hilts im with you there dude......fk the football if thats what it takes 2 get people going init <ale>

glamorgan dont pompey have a bell and a prick thats rings it.......but like i said we didnt need a fking bummer sorry drummer banging away out of tune for 90mins at ninian park and that was with ten thousand less people.

clingo with it being in the blood its hard 2 not watch the game we love for sure.....but for me the rubbish going on these days is a very hard pill 2 swallow and its pushing me away every year its been getting worse........i say lets go with modern countries take on things like germany, they have standing and cheap football for the fans(lifeblood)....while us lot in draconian britain still blame the hooligans for its reasons for expensive entry.

ps clingo if i ever take up politics you can be my spin doctor lol,im not sure id last 2 long with the skeletons the press would dig up,infact every time i open my closet they scare the fking life out of me.........<cheers>

i've read alan sugars biography, and his insight into some of the footballers activity behind the scenes is damning...

like teddy sheringham despite having years left on his contract demanding to know the players spurs were to sign in the summer (rightly told to mind his own business)...

    bullshitting agents......

i could go on and on, and things will be 10 times worse now what with the amount of money going around the top division.

I'm a Ninian Park romantic as well. I loved the place, everything about it: the intimacy, the passion ,the standing, the feeling of tradition, you name it. But, like it or hate it, we have to move on. Atmosphere, footy or both, we can't survive without the new stadium. Perhaps you'd like to continue to be part of a small and happy band that visits Rochdale on a wet Tuesday evening. If so, I take my hat off to you. However, I actually like to watch a team, see it develop, change, improve, get worse, improve again; not just stagnate. I truly wish that city had been able to stay in Ninian and that the place could have been developed, but it wasn't possible. Anyway, I'm off to shout now. You'll hear me.

HOw many were you averaging in the championship, exactly? So many plastics now you'll be able to start a pretty successful recycling business when you go down after Rogers buggers off.

compare swansea with cardiff in the championship.... 13-15k compared with our 21-22k most weeks, sure in the PL you'll get all the fair weather fans coming out of the woodwork but so would we...

as for standing areas....why not make them official? everyone in the grange end stands and its meant for seating, absolutely **** all is done to stop them....

its quite funny actually, some stewards came up to me as i was on the end of the row and told me and my mates to sit down when everyone in front was stood up, are these people thick or what? last tuesday at half time a guy started smoking RIGHT NEXT TO a steward and he did nothing!
