Yep, the Horns have since been promoted to top flight in in 99 and 06 Havent been in the 3rd division for ages (although a fair chance of that happening next season the way things are going)!
Checking the history book, Cardiff were relegated from the top flight in 1962 - 49 years ago. Since then they have bounced around the other 3 divisions. But at the moment Cardiff are a bigger and more successful club, with an unsustainably large debt. Malky take your choice, but there will be better opportunities around the corner.
OK - more or less though and we were in the top divisions before 1985 - so I was just approximating - also did not point out you finished 3rd from bottom of the whole league

No they are making an announcement today, it looks as if Malkie is the number 1 target and will be provided with a reported 20 million playing budget for next season, bellamy is in talks with getting his contract annuled by Man City and will be back, Bothroyd also back in talks, Chopra would have been off loaded no matter what as his gambling and drinking are reportedly out of hand. As i said in an earlier post we will be ok come start of the season, whether Malkie or somebody else in charge. As for Watford being a better place to live !! whoever said that, well give me a pint of what they are drinking, i still own a mews flat on Northwood high street so i know the area pretty well, as for you having a good youth academy, yes you have. But Ardley is doing a terrific job with ours and we do produce some rather special players, a legacy left by Hamman with the Academy. Well I am not going to go searching - we have more than 22,000 posts on not606 and I am absolutely certain that we are a fair broad minded set of people with a good range of views but racism, sexism and homophobia are not part of our culture - if anyone wants to point out what isawronnymoorescore is complaining about I promise to look at it but I am not going to read every post just to try to find something that may not be there.
The nearest possibility I can see is Elixir's comment in #32 - 'Welsh plumbs'. Quite what he meant by it I've no idea - but why anyone should take umbrage at being likened to an American Christian music artist is also beyond me
