Chicken in a basket, now thats a flash back. Re. gammon, in the old days if i was having it for dinner or brunch, i sometimes got up too late for breakfast it would be egg. If having it for tea the it would have to be pineapple, but left right till the end because has someone said its a pudding, but one that comes with your main meal. Good piece by the yanky guy by the way
My mates mam worked there for years. I had a right crush on her. White blouse, black skirt n stockings. She used to go to work about 6 on the bus. Always made sure i was around to see her go. Certainly didnt follow her.
He's just started following me on Twitter, should I double check he definitely had egg on his gammon?
What the **** America. What kind of third world country doesn't have gammon. They have no idea when it comes to bacon anarl.
I am happy to confirm that Zach had egg and chips with his gammon, there's even pictures of it on the Hull City USA Facebook site.
If he's put a picture of it on FB he's obviously the type of bloke who should be on here. Mustard wi the gammon and HP with the chips n egg. He looks like an Old Spice man to me.....
To bad Zach didnt write the article a couple years ago when I and my buddy from Hull both lived in DC. He could have watched our games with at least a half dozen fans of ours.
That's because eating out in the 70's really was a luxury for us working class, and eating steak was a very rare occurrence, anyhow eating chicken and chips in Baileys whilst watching the Drifters or even Olivia Newton John was more my thing
