    This is where it it gets really funny for me. Just had a look at the Sunderland board as a guest.

    Funk nearly lost every marble in the first thread claiming it was him that set the trap for GC to jump into. Now on Comm's thread, because a few posters are throwing in the towel <wah> he's now blaming comm for bringing them on.

    Can someone who isn't banned please point out what a deflecting s**tebag he is, and can they also point out, once again, that it was me who set it up no matter how unpalletable that may be to him.

    On a side note, this whole thing was about his interactions on a forum level. The man, on a forum level, was an absolute gaunch and deserved every aspect of what happened (going on previous interactions I had with him, and generally just viewing his demeanour towards others).
    Now Comm's thread has made clear to me that the only people jumping in for Smug:
    - Funk;
    - RAW;
    - V-Joe;
    - Sombrero;

    etc ... knew the man on a personal level. That speaks to me that the fella may actually be civil in personal interactions. However, we can only judge based on what we see on this site. Therein it is evident that the man had little support (even on his own board) from those who do not know him further validating the view that he was an insufferable arse on a forum level.
    Those aforementioned few who know the man in real life are welcome to side with him, but in the context of the forum, their views lack any objectivity and therefore any validity.

    Conclusion: If we both met tomorrow and didn't who eachother was Im quite confident we would easily get on well over a few jars. However he has reaped what he sowed through his behaviour towards those who only have interactions on this board to judge him on.

    Thank you, goodnight

    Jacky, if you're referring to Comm's post on smug leaving, I haven't commented on it.

    I've mentioned a few times that I've had the gloves on with him on many occasion. I disagree with a lot of the things he says, but you can't deny he can hold his own in an argument. What I didn't like was the mob mentality of the gc lot, ganging up like schoolboy bullies. I've said a couple of times I would have defended pretty much anyone in a situation like that. Smug v Comm or shameless, I couldn't give a toss about. I actually liked Comm and still do. I didn't like what the gc did, don't like their "humour". I would defend many a person, even smug and even though he's a mackem.

    Talking about reaping what you sow? With some of your views? That's a bit hypocritical surely? Can't you see that?

    Yawn, no it doesn't. I would like a bit of elaboration from somb, not rhetoric from you.

    What's your problem? He vilifies a bloke for arguing with someone and he spouts his ira ****e about the warren point massacre. No comparison in my eyes.

    You chastise me for speaking about a Newcastle topic Marcus brought up on your board and questioned why I was there. Now you are here, poking fun. Anywhere you'd like me to post? Tosser.

    Lets just recap on what happened. Throughout the whole saga there was not one mention of IRA or anything related to it (aside from Billy's mindless racist abuse), not one mention of it from me.

    You decide to ask if GIF I posted of a nuclear detonation was my "friends" in the IRA getting blown up - I respond with 2 words, and lo suddenly im "rejoicing" in the deaths of soldiers. Are you one of these people who sets out and looks for ways and reasons to be offended?

    You also didn't answer my previous question - I get on well with a number of posters who formerly served, in NI at that (even Billy despite some of the stuff he comes out with), yet you are the one who is getting most upset? Have you served somb?

    I have never served.

    I have never said you mentioned the ira in that thread.

    Are you denying ever posting about "narrow water" as you call it? I have a good memory and have no time for ira sympathisers.

    And I have no time for an ignoramus such as yourself. You're welcome to go and find any posts of mine in active support of the IRA, but I certainly will not deny them the recognition of their impact, insofar as I am no longer treated as a second class citizen in my own country at the hands of a colonially planted population.

    Perhaps if the army had maintained their initial focus as a peacekeeping protective force, accompanied by a concerted effort for political change when the situation reached its tipping point, then alot of people, on both sides, would likely be alive today. And i think you find alot of soldiers who served at the time would probably agree, your opinion is on the wrong side of many of the people you are pretending to be offended for.
