How come WMS didn't name and shame whoever put the sick racist stuff up about Sammy Ameobi? Mods can see who left tags so he must know.

 

I'd catch up but it appears there has been another 16 pages of Smug being rinsed since I last looked, so I'm out. Can anyone give me brief bullet pointed update? Does it go something like this:

1. Smug re-enters the fray and claims to be just toying with them
2. His cock washers turn up to say he is
3. GC murderously lynch the daft ****
4. He says he has had enough playtime stringing them along and says he's leaving
5. He doesn't actually leave and continues to be rinsed for a further 10 pages coming back time and again, morning and night like a dirty little crack fiend

Jacky - To be fair I salute you. The daft ****er has never worked out who started the baiting and how his continual nibbles are just adding to the legacy. Never has such a small amount of baiting had so many chomps.
Less Hope - Like you I've had no dealings with Smug. I don't know him personally and I haven't the foggiest if his stories are true. I do know that bragging about them on an internet forum and constantly giving it the biggun makes you seem a bit of ****er. I doubt very much he is enjoying the attention. He will be telling himself he is but his angry typing is probably resulting in very high blood pressure and is not reflecting well on him at all. He has been on the back foot for 20 odd pages, but his ego won't allow him to accept defeat. Personally I hope he is ok.

Not bothered about the naming and shaming...Just want to see forum rules being followed and anyone using racist remarks etc being banned..

PS..Smug is just giving them enough bait to keep the GC lot going..He is the puppet master as far as they are concerned..

 

The short review from my position as guest is....
- Smug telling everyone it is HIS thread and all other people's posts are proving he is da man
- Jacky showing a screen grap showing Smug as the main contributor on the thread..................
- Smug telling everyone they are puppets on his string... leaving them 'to it'... but lurking and giving in to his urge to post every 5 minutes
- The world record being broken for number of smileys uses in a single post
- Smug writing lots of essays telling people they are 'owned'
- GC putting loads of tags up
- Tags getting deleted
- GC poster getting banned by WMS
- Tags being put up again
- Repeat nightly for a while yet I eckon...

 

I can't understand anyone backing the gc lot after they were responsible for this board losing over fifty posters. They're a load of racist, boring bastards who toss themselves off to dead baby jokes ffs.

 

Fair enough SPMS... I wasn't posting while the mass exodus occurred, but to be honest, it seemed like it was always the plan for those posters to leave, otherwise they wouldn't have left. Credit to Agent Bruce and ACS for keeping it ticking over til our board started picking up again.

A lot of GC is generally and quite genuinely incomprehensible, but occasionally they have one thread which is absolutely hilarious.

Smug being laughed at is funny whoever is doing it to be honest, and my allegiance is with whomever decides they want to poke the bear that day!

Aye it is a good read some of it. I posted on there for a bit after Speedgate, some real funny ****ers. Granted they post some stuff some will find offensive and are close to the knuckle.

There were a lot of good lads who left when they moved on. Yeah I think the Skapel always intended to set it up anyway, but undoubtedly some didn't take much persuading after Speedgate. Each to their own and all that. I have no problem with GC, and I thought the lads who left were good craic. Each to their own and all that I suppose.

Tis true about Skalps. He will have been planning the other site for a while before the issues as it wasn't an overnight thing.
I actually post from time to time on the other site and have nearly 2000 posts racked up I think... all that without rep too...

I still speak to a canny few who are on neither via Twitter.

 

Can they not be persuaded back? As much as I enjoy it here it has never regained the heights it had in those first six months or so since we all came over from 606. I am registered on the other site (still under my original 606 name) but i think I've only ever posted 2 or 3 times. I'm a creature of habit and can't get used to their layout.


Edit: And what happened to AB? I know he was taking a break but thought it was only for the summer?

Haven't heard of AB for ages now.
The last we heard he was looking forward to a summer of cricket so I guess he may be sick of talking about the toon as he wasn't a fan of Pardew and think he was chucking his ST.
AB was a good poster and at times pretty much kept this board ticking over.

 

There does seem to have been an injection of new life in recent months - which we needed to be fair. Let's hope it continues!!

And yes, there were days where AB kept the post count going single-handed at times when things were quiet. We didn't see eye to eye on Pardew, but not many apart from DMW did see eye to eye with me on that score . It would be good to see him back. He got me a ticket for the Benfica game too, which I was well pleased with.

 

Don't drag me into it, I hate the **** really I just like being on the opposite side to the masses in some quirky bellend type way.
